What to Expect from Laser Cataract Surgery

You will need to use special eyedrops for three days before your laser cataract surgery. On the day of the procedure, we will provide you with medicine to relax you. After you’ve been brought to the Laser Suite, we will administer anesthetic eyedrops and the surgery will begin. As a top cataract surgeon with many procedures accomplished, Dr. Kelly will ensure that you are comfortable during the surgery. He will talk to you and help you relax. Anesthesia is also available, although most patients don’t need it. After 10-15 minutes, the laser cataract surgery procedure is done.
